Unimenty is a global platform designed to connect prospective students with experienced university student mentors to help them navigate their educational journeys, make informed decisions, and succeed in their academic journey. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the platform. Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using the platform, as they contain important information about your rights, obligations, and limitations.

By using Unimenty, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are under 18 years old and do not have parental or guardian consent, you may not access or use the platform.

These Terms apply to all users of Unimenty, including mentors, mentees (students), and visitors. By using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

By accessing and using the Unimenty platform, you agree to the following:

You accept these Terms, which may be updated from time to time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.

The platform is intended for individuals seeking mentorship regarding academic decisions, university life, and career development. By using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent.

Users must comply with all applicable laws and agree not to use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to collecting data without consent, infringing intellectual property rights, or attempting to interfere with the operation of the platform.

Violation of these Terms may result in account suspension or termination.

To access Unimenty's services, users must register and create an account. By doing so, users agree to provide accurate and complete information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are responsible for all activities that occur under their account. Users agree to notify Unimenty immediately if they suspect any unauthorized use.

Users of Unimenty also agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating and updating their accounts, and to update their account information as necessary to keep it accurate and current. The Unimenty platform is not responsible for any errors or omissions in user-provided information, and users may be held responsible for any damages or losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete account information.

Unimenty reserves the right to terminate accounts at its discretion for violations of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or illegal activities. Account suspension or deletion does not entitle users to compensation or refunds.

Unimenty offers a service aimed at connecting prospective students with university students or recent graduates for one-on-one mentorship. Mentees can book personalized one-on-one sessions with mentors on a variety of educational topics, including choosing a university, program, career advice, application guidance, and adapting to new environments. Mentors set their own prices for sessions. Unimenty applies a service fee to the sessions.

Unimenty's terms of use outline the rights and responsibilities of users regarding the content they upload or post on the platform.

By posting or submitting content on the platform, users grant Unimenty a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, global, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content in any medium or format, whether now known or developed in the future. Users confirm and warrant that they have the legal right to grant this license and that their submitted content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights or other legal rights.

Users are solely accountable for the content they post or submit on the platform and agree to indemnify and hold Unimenty, along with its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees, harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of the content they provide. Unimenty reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms of use or is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise unacceptable.

Users are prohibited from submitting or posting any content that:

Is illegal, threatening, defamatory, libelous, obscene, or pornographic;

Violates the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;

Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code;

Seeks to collect personal information from minors;

Contains any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.

Unimenty does not endorse, nor is it responsible for, the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any user-generated content on the platform. Users are encouraged to exercise caution and sound judgment when interacting with other users and to report any inappropriate or suspicious content or behavior to Unimenty.

Unimenty accepts payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer, all processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Unimenty does not collect or store any payment information, such as credit card details. Instead, we receive a notification once payment has been successfully completed through Stripe. By using our services, you also agree to be bound by Stripe's Terms of Service, which can be reviewed at Stripe Terms of Service.

Some payment methods may be subject to additional conditions or fees, and relevant information will be provided during the purchasing process. Users are responsible for ensuring their payment information is up-to-date and accurate.

All fees for services, such as mentorship sessions, must be paid in full before the service is provided. These fees will be clearly stated on the platform at the time of purchase. Unimenty reserves the right to update its payment terms at any time, and users should regularly review these terms to stay informed.

In the event of a failed or refused payment, Unimenty is under no obligation to fulfill the order and reserves the right to claim any related expenses or damages from the user. If there is a dispute over payment, users are encouraged to contact Unimenty's customer support team to resolve the issue at info@unimenty.com.

The mentee can withraw their application and the mentor can reject the application before it is finalised in which case the mentee will be refunded the amount paid for the session.

After the application has been finalised, the mentee and mentor shall have a period of one (1) month to complete the session. During this period, either party may cancel the session, in which case all fees paid shall be refunded to the mentee. The mentee is prohibited from canceling the application if the session has already taken place as agreed. After the one (1) month period has lapsed, the mentee shall no longer be eligible to cancel. Should the mentee believe there is a valid basis for a refund beyond this timeframe, they may submit a request to the Unimenty team, which will review the matter to determine if sufficient grounds for a refund exist.

Unimenty's terms of use outline the ownership and use of intellectual property on the platform, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.

By using the Unimenty platform, users agree that all content and materials, including text, graphics, images, and software, are the property of Unimenty or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use these materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any content or materials on the platform without express written consent from Unimenty. Any use for commercial purposes requires prior written approval.

Unimenty reserves the right to terminate or restrict platform access for users who violate intellectual property terms and may take legal action against those who infringe its rights.

Users are also required to respect the intellectual property of others and must not post or transmit any infringing materials. If a user identifies content that violates intellectual property rights, they must promptly notify Unimenty.

Your privacy is important to us. By using Unimenty, you agree to our collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Please review this policy carefully.

Unimenty is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive to provide a secure and reliable platform, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or error-free operation.

Liability: Unimenty and its affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to errors, omissions, or loss of data.

No Warranty: Unimenty does not make any warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform and its services.

Users may terminate their account and stop using the Unimenty platform at any time by doing so in their account settings. Upon termination, users will no longer have access to their account or any services provided by Unimenty, and any fees or charges paid for services that have not yet been provided will be forfeited.

Unimenty reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account at its sole discretion, without prior notice, in situations where the user has violated these Terms, engaged in illegal or unauthorized activity, or provided inappropriate or offensive content.

The suspension or deletion of an account does not entitle the user to any compensation, damages, or reimbursement for any fees or charges paid. Users are still responsible for paying any outstanding fees or amounts owed at the time of suspension or deletion.

Unimenty is not responsible for any loss or damages incurred by the user as a result of the account termination, suspension, or deletion.

These account termination terms apply to all users of the Unimenty platform, including both mentees seeking guidance and mentors providing mentorship services

Unimenty platform outlines the laws and regulations that govern the use of the platform and the resolution of any disputes that may arise. By using the platform, users agree to be bound by the governing law outlined in this section.

The Unimenty platform is based in Bulgaria and is subject to Bulgarian law. Any disputes that arise in relation to the use of the platform or the services provided will be resolved in accordance with Bulgarian law.

Users of the Unimenty platform agree to attempt to resolve any disputes that may arise through negotiation and mediation before seeking legal remedies. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation and mediation, it will be resolved in the courts of Bulgaria.

The governing law section also outlines the jurisdiction in which any legal proceedings will take place. Users of the Unimenty platform agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bulgaria in relation to any disputes that may arise.

Users of the Unimenty platform agree to waive any rights they may have to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit in relation to any disputes that may arise. Any disputes will be resolved through individual arbitration in accordance with Bulgarian law.

Unimenty reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users, and continued use of the platform after changes are made will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
